The East Bay’s mighty Charger have returned with the Last Call EP that features five new songs, the EP is now available through streaming platforms and on 12″ ‘ruby ghost’, blue smoke’, and ‘blood red’ vinyl, CD and ‘metallic’ and ‘solid red’ cassette via Pirates Press Records, just in time for your motorcycle trip to hell! The band laid down these tracks in July 2025 at Studio 2200 in Sausalito, CA, that was formerly known as the Bay Area’s legendary Record Plant, with Chris Dugan at the helm.
The members of Charger hail from legendary punk bands such as UK Subs, Rancid, and Jello Biafra & The Guantanamo School of Medicine, just to name a few, but make no mistake, this band is its own entity with its own sound forged together! In addition to the core band members, Lars Frederiksen (Rancid / The Old Firm Casuals) & Wayne Lozinak (Hatebreed) dropped by the studio to contribute vocals.
