Leeds, UK brass infused noisy art punks Volk Soup have announced that their debut full length, 10p Jazz, will be released on the 3rd October and have today shared the album’s lead single, Reptilian Brain. 10p Jazz will be available digitally & on a trio of vinyl variants via Dipterid Records and on cassette through Cruel Nature Records, the album captures the raw force of their live set while pushing further into uneasy textures, untested ideas, momentum twists, collapsing structures with nothing staying settled for long.

Volk Soup‘s music threads together wiry post-punk, dissonant noise, and bursts of free-jazz intensity, all stitched together with a low end swagger and a chaotic sense of precision. The songs lean into abrasion and absurdity, full of sudden turns and structure-bending arrangements: equal parts menace, muscle and meticulous collapse.
