Tin Ribs are North East Englands very own handsome bastards, they are also a band that drive their live shows to the very edge of the abyss that is self destruction, but pull it back from the brink at every single turn. The energy they exude is beyond anything your likely to witness this side of the Atlantic, or even beyond maybe. So now they are set to release their new single ‘Disaster Capitalism’ maybe it’s time you go check them out and give them the plaudits they so dearly deserve.

As subject matter goes, its not lost on me that this is a song that’s pushes the boundaries of what punk should and could take on, or at least that’s what they in their little world imagine. But seriously this is a song that might not push the lyrical envelope, but what it does do is explode onto the scene with a style that’s all of its own. This is in the bands words a polished version of what they do live, but believe me, this is just how punk should sound, meaningful and driven only by the makers need to speak out.  If you’re familiar with bands like Minor Threat well this band might not be anything like them really, but boy do they try!!
