The Dollyrots are getting to hit the road on the Spring Break From Reality Midwest US Tour that kicks off in Minneapolis, MN on the 12th March with Keep Flying as main support on the tour, you can view the The Dollyrots‘ tour dates and purchase tickets here. The Dollyrots released a rousing punked-up cover of Lesley Gore‘s feminist classic, You Don’t Own Me, last October via Wicked Cool Records and have confirmed that they have new material in the pipeline.

“We’ve been hibernating a little, getting back into the swing of things thru January. Kids went back to school, Kelly’s been on the radio 5 days a week, and now it’s time to kick things into gear for the Spring Break From Reality Tour! That’s right, we’re heading to the Midwest USA for a string of dates this March and hitting some of our fav places. Plus we’re bringing the totally excellent Keep Flying along for the ride! You’re gonna love em. We’re working on new music right now, we’re aiming to tour a little less this year and focus on writing the next album. Already have a plan in place, we will update as it comes along. All we’ve gotta say is, we wanna set this next thing up to be EXCEPTIONAL. Also looking to release a single in the next couple months just as a taste of the new shizz.”
