The Damned have today released their new full length, Not Like Everybody Else, that is a tribute to their late guitarist and founder member Brian James, with each tune chosen because it was by an artist who had an impact on Brian’s guitar playing and, in turn, his songwriting and The Damned as a band. The album was blasted out in five days of emotion and creative fire at Revolver Studio in Los Angeles with Rat Scabies back in the studio with the band for the first time in 40 years.
The Damned will also be playing exclusive shows at Manchester, UK’s Albert Hall on the 28th January, Paris’s Bataclan on the 1st February and Cologne’s Essigfabrik on the 3rd February that promise to be a run of unforgettable nights honouring Brian James and the band’s shared musical history. The Damned will also be celebrating their 50th anniversary at London, UK’s Wembley Arena on the 11th April.
