The Damned have announced the release of their new full length, Not Like Everybody Else, on the 23rd January 2026. The album is a tribute to their late guitarist and founder member Brian James, with each tune chosen because it was by an artist who had an impact on Brian’s guitar playing and, in turn, his songwriting and The Damned as a band. The lead single from Not Like Everybody Else will be a cover of R Dean Taylor‘s There’s A Ghost In My House that will be released on the 30th October, the track will be accompanied by a music video directed by award-winning director Gilbert Trejo.

The Damned will also be playing a one off exclusive show at the Albert Hall in Manchester, UK on the 28th January 2026 that promises to be an unforgettable night honouring Brian James and the band’s shared musical history.
