The Chameleons have released Arctic Moon, their first full length in 24 years, via Metropolis Records. The album contains seven new songs, including the recent single Saviours Are A Dangerous Thing and a re-recorded version of the 2024 single Where Are You? Although signaling something of a departure from the sound of their earlier albums, Arctic Moon nevertheless remains rooted in the same emotional depth, spirit and intensity that has always defined their output. With the original nucleus of Mark ‘Vox’ Burgess and Reg Smithies back together, alongside longtime members Stephen RiceDanny Ashberry and Todd Demma, the band have delivered a record that fits squarely with their catalog. The Chameleons are also kicking off a run of North American dates on September 26th in Seattle, the tour hugs the West Coast with dates in Vancouver, Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and more, before wrapping up in Denver on October 9th.

“There is an obvious maturity to the songwriting on this record, and anyone familiar with our past work will hear that this is a positive step forwardWhile we’re proud of the band’s legacy, we really wanted to forge something fresh while retaining that profound and imaginative quality we’re known for. We think that we have managed to do that and deliver a very strong record!” (bassist and singer Mark ‘Vox’ Burgess)
