Emerging from a brief hiatus to focus on writing and recording, Boorlo, Perth based Indie Punk outfit Ten Cent Tiger have today released their introspective new single, Growing Pains, that offers a reflective take on the feelings of loss, uncertainty, disorientation, discomfort, and eventual acceptance that accompany growing through life. Gritty yet vulnerable, the track fuses raw emotion with Ten Cent Tiger’s signature melodic edge, hinting at a more expansive sonic palette for the band in 2025. Growing Pains marks the band’s first release since their 2023 debut EP, Moments, and is the first of several new tracks slated for release this year, including the upcoming Autophobia single that will be released on June 20th.

“It’s about that weird, in-between feeling when you know you’re changing but you’re not quite sure who you’re becoming. It’s messy, but it’s real.”
