Laramie, WY’s Teenage Bottlerocket are kicking off 2026 with the release of their new four song EP, The Invisible Man, this is now available through streaming platforms and on 7″ vinyl from Pirates Press Records. The four songs were recorded during the sessions for the band’s smash hit 2025 album, Ready To Roll, with each of the band’s three singer/songwriters represented amongst the tracks. Bassist Miguel Chen wrote the title track, and taps into some of the mid-tempo new wave influence seen on the LP, while using cinematic imagery to express his own need to disappear from the chaos of the modern world. Guitarist Ray Carlisle contributes You Made Me Get Called A Poser that was inspired by a real life tale from his offspring, Carlisle also wrote the EP closer, City At Night, which was previously available on an ultra-limited 7″ included with the Deluxe Edition of Ready To Roll. Finally, guitarist Kody Templeman contributes Pembry’s Face, a song inspired by the band’s penchant for horror fiction.
