Brooklyn, NY Weirdo Art Punks Tea Eater have shared the video for the title track from their sophomore album, I Don’t Believe In Bad Luck. The track is a twisted anthem and anti-omen that flips the superstition script by speaking directly from the perspective of “bad luck” itself, unbothered by your rituals, cats or manifestations. Tea Eater are set to commence a run of EU & UK dates this month and will be touring the US in August, you can view the band’s tour dates here.

The surreal lo-fi video, that was shot in New Orleans by Emily Hughston Hoffman, follows frontperson Tarra Thiessen as she plants chalices in unexpected corners of the city. What unfolds is a visual spell charged with chaos, charm, and a healthy dose of absurdity, designed to confuse the very energies that define “bad luck.” The result is both a riot and a ritual, a celebration of chance and the kind of magic that emerges when you stop looking for meaning.
