Southampton, UK Pop Punks Slackrr have today released their fourth album, A Light On The Horizon, via SBAM Records. Recorded in ACO Studios with producer Adam Cox in between the band’s relentless touring schedule, A Light On The Horizon epitomises their high energy, emo-tinged and nostalgia-drenched Pop Punk anthems, including the singles Over & Over, Save Your Breath, Never Forget and Better Days.

“When it came to writing this album, we didn’t really think we were writing an album. We were just trying to write great songs that we loved and we hoped our fans and a wider audience would be into. Because it was written during our heavy touring schedule, everything was very of-the-moment and instant. It’s a very honest record. Dealing with everyday topics that people in our lives and everyday people have to deal with. It deals with a range of emotions from despair to hope, anger to joy, and finding something worth fighting for. But I guess the overriding theme is hope for the future and that things will get better, and remembering where you came from and whatever adversities you have overcome to get you to where you are today while maintaining a very fun and honest sound and message that feels like us and where we’re at right now.” (frontman Scotty Perry)
