The members of West Michigan’s Red Arrow Highway have been playing music for the better part of two decades. Channeling a love for Bruce Springsteen, guitar solos and light beer, the band plays a melodic blend of alt-rock and punk with moments both somber and electric. Today they have released their new full length, Be Someone Better, via Self Aware Records, the album reflects an admiration for classic rock in the vein of Springsteen and Tom Petty, and a love for bands like Bright Eyes, The Gaslight Anthem and The Menzingers.
Be Someone Better follows up on Red Arrow Highway‘s debut album, Brothers Never Die, that was released in May 2022, whilst their first effort was recorded as the duo of Justin Suarez and Nate Johnivan, they have since expanded the line up with bassist Dave Daniele, drummer Jason Kienke, guitarist John Buchta, and Matty Weaver on keyboards.
