Canadian provocateurs Midnight Peg have returned with their blistering new single, Swallow, that is the latest glimpse into their upcoming album, Skinning, that will be released on the 3rd October via Thousand Islands Records. If the sustained, ambient noise that opens the record is the storm cloud, Swallow is the lightning strike, an unflinching demolition site of Hardcore breakdowns, noise-soaked haze and lyrical gut punches.

Swallow‘s dreamlike, dust-hung calm is obliterated by distorted chaos and rapid-fire vocals, capturing a grim portrait of emotional repression, alienation, and violent grief, moments when power and identity fracture beyond repair. The track follows the searing singles Thirstland and The Hag and pushes Midnight Peg‘s chaotic, experimental energy to new extremes.
