Oakland, CA’s Middle-Aged Queers, the beloved LGBTQ+ punk band known for their unapologetic sound and belligerently joyful live shows, have released their second single of the year, a spirited punk cover of Taylor Swift‘s Anti-Hero that is now available through streaming platforms. Anti-Hero will also be featured on Middle-Aged Queers‘ forthcoming album, Greatest Hits, that is set to drop on May 1st. The album is a collection of previously unreleased cover songs recorded over the past four years, ranging from contemporary pop classics to deep cuts from punk rock past.
“Covering ‘Anti-Hero’ is part of our multi-tier plan to lure Taylor Swift fans to punk rock. Not only will we be known as musical ambassadors, we can also appropriate that big Swiftie money to further the gay agenda.” (vocalist Shaun Osburn)
