German punk rock powerhouse Melonball have returned swinging with their ferocious new single, Garbage Day, that is out now via Thousand Islands Records in North America and Rookie Records in Germany. The track serves as the first glimpse of their highly anticipated sophomore album that is set for release in early 2026. Garbage Day is a blistering, no-compromise call out to hate driven, right-wing forces that is fuelled by fast, technical riffs, precision drumming and anthemic vocal hooks. The track sees Melonball deliver a clear message: racism, discrimination, and bigotry have no place here. This is punk rock with teeth: fierce, urgent, and unapologetic. The release comes just ahead of Melonball‘s performance at Punk Rock Holiday, where the band will bring their signature blend of melody, speed and political firepower to one of Europe’s biggest punk stages.

“This song is about taking out the trash, confronting lies, hate, and the social decay they cause. We’re not backing down, and this is just a taste of what’s coming next.” (vocalist Oli Barth-Jurca)
