Bombay, India’s Pacifist are set to release their new EP, Five, on January 16th 2026, the EP will see the band unleash five tracks that elude sonic parameters. Whilst living culturally orphaned in a third world that’s set in steady decline, Five is Pacifist‘s sermon on a scarce & fast dying approach to music with plenty of emotional heft. Self-produced and mixed by guitarist Apurv with mastering by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege, five is a long-awaited statement rooted in creativity, friendship, and distinction.
Pacifist introduce the EP with the lead single Running Out, a pulsating track screaming about the state of the world as it inches closer to doomsday. Influence from bands like Refused and At The Drive-In pours through robust dual vocals met by unique guitar-driven melodies and hard-hitting drums. The video for the song, directed by Mehran Shaikh & Mehr Gupta, captures a dynamic, whirlwind performance from Pacifist.
