LA folk-punk collective Hoist The Colors mark a powerful return with the release of their new single, Documentation, that is out now via HEY!FEVER Records. The track is the band’s first offering from their upcoming full-length album, Dear Wanderlust, that is due out on October 10th. Produced by Paul Miner at Buzzbomb Studios, Documentation explores the emotional highs and lows that define the human experience, moments of joy and despair that converge into something universally relatable.

“‘Documentation’ was written about the juxtapositions we come across as we travel through our lives. There are moments of triumph and overwhelming joy that are consistently being met with times of desperation and unbearable pain. These all coalesce into a singular human experience. With Jeff Antons directing, we used the Port of Los Angeles, a booming hub in our home city, as a backdrop representing the ebbs and flows of what we as a band, and as individuals, go through. It really ties in with the rest of the record as each track represents an individual journey that we all encounter as we move ahead.” (frontman Josh Linden)
