Legendary Japanese punk band Hi-Standard have announced their return with a new EP, Screaming Newborn Baby, that is set to be released on November 26th via Pizza Of Death Records. The six-track EP marks the debut of new drummer Zax, who joined the band following the passing of longtime member Takao Tsuneoka in February 2023.

The Screaming Newborn Baby EP will be the band’s first new studio recording since the release of their 2017 album The Gift, the band also recently released lead single, Our Song, via streaming platforms.
