Let me start by saying, this is possibly the strangest EP release I have has the pleasure to have been forwarded in a very long (although it does feel familiar, but not sure why). To give you the short story, this EP is made up of  five Dirty South Punk Rock n Roll songs that have been released over 2 months starting on Nov 25th 2025 as both songs and videos, culminating in the full release today, Friday 6th Feb 2026.  Yep told you it was odd, it’s like cliff hanger soap opera or horror drama (the choice is yours), either way it’s bloody genius. Was the wait worthwhile then…. Being that I did cheat and only do the binge listen I’m not sure this is a true reflection of what has been created here, but let’s see/hear.

First up is ‘These Pants Ain’t Gonna Shit Themselves’ and what I thought was going to got be a song on the finer points of drinking too much beer and finding that you’ve dropped more than your pants in public, but actually its about wanting to buy a Cybertruck and not having the money to do so, so why not rob the local bar to finance this shit, so yeah about the same thing really, its musically fucking great anyway. Next comes the very grunge sounding ‘I Love You When I’m Drunk’ and as the line “these songs are mediocre and they’re mostly about my junk” says, yes they are, but that fucking life isn’t it, why sugar coat this shit, that’s what I took away from this song and that’s enough for me.

Ok ‘Glory Hole’ is next up, and yeah it does need a single X cert maybe, but truthfully this is an absolute fucking banger of a song in music, delivery and video, I’m not totally sure I got it, but it gives you a kick up the ass, it makes you wanna live, it says and does something about how living to the max that should never be forgotten!!, or it could just be a song about never get complacent and think that’s it then. Without a by your fucking leave we then crash straight the hell into ‘Close Out Your tab’ (its an American thing I think) we call it pay your bill idiot or I’ll slam your head off the pavement and bar your from the pub, but hey we all get the gist of it yeah… So anyway yeah I got the whole thing fucking wrong by the way, its actually only four tracks and then a final blast of full on Tarantino movie to cap it all off (or could it be Plan 9 From Outer Space territory, you decide) either way its as I did say from the off, a drop of genius well worth sitting down and binging on, just don’t expect a Melania style flop.

To sum up, its real, its life, its high-octane punk rock bollocks, and its actually pretty good too.
