Waikoloa, Hawai‘i’s DIY Punk trio El Sancho have been slinging fast, hook-heavy songs built on the holy trinity of three chords, loud amps, and restless humor since 2019, the band have today self-released their new album, Roll Right Over You, on vinyl and CD and through digital platforms. Whether opening for punk icons like TSOL, FEAR and Strung Out, or packing out DIY shows across the Big Island, El Sancho prove that fun, melodic punk rock still hits hardest when it’s home-grown and a little sunburned.

The album was mixed by World Air Guitar Champion Craig Billmeier (The Love Songs) and mastered by Jack Endino. The artwork was created by Greg Higgins and captures the vibe of the last song of the album, The Kids Are Gonna Roll Right Over You. It’s about the right wing culture warriors who demonize LGBTQIA+ kids to score political points, but the kids just don’t care and roll right along.
