Dusseldorf’s Die Toten Hosen have released Die Show Muss Wetergehen (The Show Must Go On), the track is the lead single from their upcoming final studio album, Trink Aus, Wir Müssen Gehen! (Drink Up, We Have To Go), that will be released on the 29th May. The album will include a bonus full length Alles Muss Raus! (Everything Must Go) that will feature 25 cover songs recorded with friends, colleagues and artists who have inspired the band since their formation in 1982. Die Toten Hosen will also be on tour in Germany from June and will also be appearing at this year’s Rebellion Festival in Blackpool, UK.
“Dear friends, we’re thrilled to finally share some new music with you today and hope you enjoy it. In these times, when many feel like the world is going downhill, we wanted to offer a counterpoint to the gloomy mood with “The Show Must Go On.” The song is also a tribute to all those who live by the motto: fall down seven times, get up eight. This track is meant to be a little teaser for everything we have in store for you. We’re so excited that it’s finally starting.”
