The latest DCxPC Live features Sick Move live at the Metro, Sick Move are a Baltimore-based band whose high-energy sets channel the urgency of melodic hardcore at its finest. Fast, hook-driven, and emotionally charged, their sound blends raw aggression with undeniable melody, songs that hit hard in the moment but linger long after the final chord. Captured live, this release showcases the intensity and passion that define Sick Move’s performances and cement them as one of the most compelling voices in today’s punk scene.

“We were beyond stoked when Scott asked us to be part of the DCxPC Live series. We didn’t want to come off like total amateurs, so we locked in a date and convinced The Goons and Murder to team up with us for the show. Our good friend Jeremy Hayes brought out his recording gear and made sure everything sounded dialed in. Meanwhile, Scott (yeah, that’s DCxPC Scott) basically drove 40 straight hours—driving from NY to pick up his kid in MA and then to Annapolis to drop them off and then up to Baltimore just to make it to the show in time. Legend. All our best friends from our favorite bands—and honestly, our whole childhoods—showed up. Dave’s fingers were freezing. Dan claimed his spot dead center. The whole night was unforgettable. After our set, we finally got to catch our breath and watch Murder absolutely destroy. Then The Goons brought it home and shut it down. Dave drew the cover art that night so none of us would forget who was there. One of the best nights of our lives.”
