Las Vegas punk trio Crimson Riot have released their third full length, Third Times A Charm, via Leg Lamp Records. The album features a dozen brand new songs, including the singles Cross the Line, which illustrates the frustrations with fair weather friends and industry heads, and State of Despair, a melodic punk anthem that refuses to sit quietly in the face of rising division, to the more light and poppy Mold Age that touches on the attempt to hold onto youthfulness as we age. The album also includes the track Here’s To You that features members of Buck-O-Nine and Lo(u)ser which is an anthem to those fans and supporters who came through during the Covid pandemic.

The southern Nevada trio took a different approach with the recording process for this album than previous releases with “fullness” being a large focus. You will find small details sprinkled throughout the album that add a bit more personality to every song and help drive the messages home. Nostalgia was also in the forefront of the creative process; drawing from the group’s collective experiences and influences over the years.
