Bayonne, NJ’s Crazy & The Brains have released a brand new song, Cigarette Socialite, that was produced by Pete Steinkopf (The Bouncing Souls) and is about living as your true self and manifesting your own outcome in life. The song is a huge anthemic crash that is balanced by Christoph Jesus‘ heartfelt vocals and guitarist Ernest Young‘s soaring guitar lines, they also talk about stealing TVs and then getting ripped off for the fence money. Right now, Crazy & The Brains are recording a full length LP with Tim Armstrong (Rancid) in LA. Another single is expected to drop in later Summer / early Fall.

On the last day of freshman year of high school I met a punk kid. After feeling lost and alone we came together to bring out the best and worst in each other. We carved out our own path on a chaotic journey to creating ourselves. No matter what people thought of us it made no difference. We made a choice to live on our own terms and prove them all wrong. Through this, a powerful discovery was made that continues to be a superpower— the belief, commitment to and understanding of this absolute truth: You decide the outcome of your own story. We are all gods. We are all stars. We are all main characters.” (Christoph Jesus)
