Boston, MA’s Burp. have dropped their new single, ELW, that nods to 60’s Pop as well as more contemporary Power Pop, whilst bringing the band’s own Punk laced directness and contemporary Emo intonations to the fore. The quartet have also announced their upcoming EP, Video Games & Cartoons, is set for release on August 22nd.

This is our attempt at writing a pop-rock song. Leo (Folan, guitars) still tried to sneak some fancy stuff in there, but also kept it as diatonic as possible. Lyrically, it is a love letter to all of the people who have talked about us behind our backs.”
