Billy Idol (Generation X) has released his new album, Dream Into It, via Dark Horse RecordsDream Into It is Billy Idol’s first full length in over a decade, the album includes co-writing and performance credits throughout from his longtime collaborator Steve Stevens as well as guest appearances by Avril LavigneJoan Jett and Alison Mosshart (The Kills).

There will also be a brand new documentary film, Billy Idol Should Be Dead, that is set to premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival on 10th June. Directed by three-time Grammy-winner Jonas ÅkerlundBilly Idol Should Be Dead traces the life and career of Billy Idol through never before seen archival and personal interviews with Idol, his family, peers and collaborators.

Billy Idol is also returning to the road for It’s a Nice Day To…Tour Again on a run of arenas and amphitheatres that kicks off in the US at Phoenix’s Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre on the 30th April, he will also return to the UK and EU in the Summer, including an appearance at the Forever Now FestivalBilly Idol will be joined by Joan Jett & The Blackhearts in the US and New Model Army in the UK.
