Burgess Hill, UK’s Better Than The Book released their third full length album, Side Character In My Own Life, last month and they have now released a bonus instrumentals album to accompany the album. Side Character In My Own Life is available on CD and vinyl here and both versions are available digitally via Bandcamp and streaming platforms. The album follows directly on from where 2020’s Hopes & Dreams album left off, although it takes a darker more aggressive tone reflective of the writing process taking place during those intense pandemic years.
