Beans On Toast has released Kill Them With Kindness, the brand-new album from the English singer-songwriter that was recorded at Greenmount Studios in Leeds with The Beans on Toast Band, although the musicians have gigged together before, this new album marks the first time they have recorded together. The band camped out in the studio for a week and delved headfirst into the recording experience. Most of the record was recorded live to capture the energy and passion coming from the band. The recording experience was fun, and that is what this record is about. To celebrate the album’s release, Beans On Toast has issued a rousing new single called That’s Why I Don’t Drink Tequila Anymore. Beans on Toast will be hitting the road with his full band in March 2026 and tickets are available here and he is currently doing solo gigs across the UK.

“Although it may not seem it at first, this song is a love song, it’s also a drinking song, about giving up on one particular tipple. It’s fun, it’s bouncy, and it sounds like a good night down at the local boozer. It’s been a massive crowd favourite ever since I first played it, and I love how it sounds with the band. I filmed the video for it at my local boozer, The Coach & Horses in Whitstable, where I had my last ever shot of tequila. The idea was simple: go to the pub, put on a little show, and get everyone plastered on tequila, except me, of course. I don’t touch the stuff. Yes, the world is a weird, unfair and dangerous place, but if we lose our fun, we lose our hope. We should look at the problem head-on but also look at what we do have. Count our blessings, enjoy a night with friends, feel grateful for that festival, plant a tree, get a cat.” (Beans On Toast)
