Boston’s BADTERMS are relative newcomers, but you’d never guess that based on the quality of their tunes or the pedigree of the members. The band was originally conceived a remote COVID studio project between friends Curt Florczak and Hans Molnar. Both founding members are longtime scene veterans who have spent decades playing in Garage Punk acts such B-Movie Rats and The Candy Snatchers. Post-pandemic, BADTERMS didn’t take long to coalesce into a full band, and they’ve stayed busy ever since.
To date they’ve released several EPs on Germany’s Lionheart Records and maintain an active tour schedule. As of mid-August 2025, the band is freshly returned from their first European tour, which culminated with an appearance at this year’s Beach, Beer & Chaos Festival in Spain. Fans of the early days of TKO Records will find plenty to love on this record as BADTERMS delivers a gut shot combo of 77 Punk, Bootboy Glam and good old fashioned Bovver Rock that really pack a wallop.
BADTERMS domestic debut full length, Panic Age, will be released on the 28th August via TKO Records, the album collects select tracks from the band’s previous European released EPs, most of which were limited pressings with many already out-of-print. BADTERMS have today shared two tracks, Special Kind Of Crazy & 2000 Tonnes, that are available as name your price downloads.
