Australia’s Arabella & The Heist lean deeper into the chaos of their latest single, Maraschino, with the release of the music video. Shot DIY-style in a space too small to stand, the video’s red and black palette mirrors the track’s wild push and pull, embodying both its sensual sound and the sharp tension of its lyrics. No strangers to raw immediacy, the band chose an intentionally confined set-up, one camera, one space, to channel the song’s pressure into something visual, tactile, and unflinching. Arabella And The Heist will also be playing a single launch show at Melbourne’s The Old Bar on October 4th with support from The Stripp and W.O.M.B.A.T.

“The music video, like the song, came from a place of wanting to play with the idea of tension and release. Wechose an unconventionally claustrophobic space to set it within, set up a camera and filmed it ourselves. This allowed us the ability to play with the space in a way that portrays the pressure of the song.” (frontwoman Holly Arabella)
