Bay Area punk trio Year001 have released their debut full length, The Sound Of Our Voice, via streaming platforms. The album acts as a rallying cry to stay positive, pick yourself up and make a change, messages that are more essential now than ever in today’s chaotic mess of a world. This positive DIY approach is central to the ethos the band adopted over the past two years while searching for a sound and lineup with a similar vision and passion.

After exploring various song-writing and vocal collaborations, guitarist Justin King stepped up to command lead vocal duties and the band discovered the best chemistry was there as a trio with Nick Volkart leaning in for an occasional dual vocal attack. The outcome of this journey established an invigorating sound heard that is best described as a fiery blend of positive minded Punk Rock and Post Hardcore music that freely blends elements from decades of music.
