Greek Punks The Overjoyed have released their emotional new single, Rotten Love, that is the second single from the band’s upcoming album and it arrives just days before the band take to the stage with Green Day at Ejekt Festival on July 6th. Musically, the track fuses melancholic punk melodies with the band’s signature irony, with a riff inspired by The Clash‘s Police on My Back with the band layering chorus effects to give the track a siren like quality.

 “This is the first time I’ve written something this deep and personal about love. I could not wait for this song to come out. It’s really cathartic for me… putting it out in the world makes me feel vulnerable, but also somehow relieved.” (lead vocalist Leo Overjoyed)
