Pittsburgh’s The Cheats have today released their long awaited sixth studio full album, Old Rats On A New Ship, that is out now via Screaming Crow Records and features cover art designed by Alex Hagen (The Ravagers). After the departure of guitarist Rob Senomar in 2023, the band decided to scrap most of the songs they had written with Rob and start fresh with new guitarist & producer, Johnny Razorblade, who has previously worked with band on the Cussin’, Crying N Carrying On, XXI and the Cheap Pills 20th anniversary reissue. 

The Cheats are on tour in the US in support of the album’s release, they will appearing alongside the likes of Dwarves, The Queers, The Jasons, Electric Frankenstein and The Ravagers and will also be appearing at Cumberland, MD’s Savage Mountain Punk Fest & Pierpont, OH’s State Line Farm Fest, you can view the band’s tour dates here.
