Helsinki’s Giglinger have released their two track new single, Shrapnel, that was recorded at East Studio Sounds and is available via digital platforms and on 7″ vinyl through Bandcamp. The Shrapnel single features two Punk Rock songs, The Man With Shrapnel in His Head and Born Dead Buried Alive, and is part of a Giglinger’s release cycle that alternates between Punk singles and Post Punk albums.

The Man With Shrapnel in His Head is a Dead Kennedys‘ style case study of a war traumatized elementary school technical crafts teacher. The flip side, Born Dead Buried Alive, is a brutal depiction of the conflict between the thirst for life and the fear of death.
